Abigail has some exciting news! She has taken her love of photography, hair and makeup to the next level: she's starting her own photography studio!
Over the past couple months she's been gathering equipment, from lights to tripods and flashes. She has backgrounds, a space of her own (though yes, it's in the basement), and a ready family to experiment on.
Now it was time to get some new models!
Abby has three main categories that she's been taking pictures in: Glamour, Portrait, and Artistic Expression. Glamour photos, for the young ladies especially, are where hair and makeup get done expertly by Abby. These are particularly fun because of the giggles and laughs that can be heard from downstairs as photos are taken...
Portraits are also fun! Especially when the model is a cute little baby! Or maybe a handsome young man with his favorite guitar? Sorry Alex, your guitar is nice, but this little girl beats it. Doesn't she simply look darling?
But my personal favorite (and where I think Abby has the most creative fun) is in the photos from her Artistic Expression collection. These photos are all inspired from Abigail's own mind, and they all come out amazingly!
In this photo, Abby covered me in glow-in-dark paint and had a black light turned on to make it look like I was the night sky!
Its cold, wet, and rainy outside right now, but Abigail loves to take photos outside. She's looking forward to taking more photos in the sunshine (we're all hoping for) this spring and summer.
We're all happy Abby is following her dream in starting her own studio! I just hope she wont stop taking pictures of me; I love being her model!
